This is the wrong direction! If anything I think we need MORE tax on gas and less elsewhere. People shouldn’t be encouraged to drive! Raise the damn gas tax and put more money towards reducing our dependency and increasing decent public transportation.
Of course, I have no reason to talk as I don’t have a car and don’t pay for gas … McCain is ass-backwards in any case!
