MoveOn- Urgent: McCain Outrage in New Orleans

It is un-f@#$ing believable to me that we have people in this country that say this kind of thing crap, much less believe it. And then to have a front-running politician welcoming the endorsement of such, well, idiots? It’s beyond comprehension. Hopefully I’m not the only one who thinks this way. I mean, Seriously? Come on! Does he really expect people to believe what he says about anything with comments like this? I’d like to see some proof regarding your New Orleans / Hurricane Katrina comments, stupid Mr. Hagee …

It’s pretty sad McCain is relying for political support on a man who preaches bigotry and exclusion. Take a couple seconds out of your day and maybe this will send McCain a message. MoveOn message follows:

This past Sunday, John McCain again embraced the political support of right-wing evangelist John Hagee, who said “Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans.”

I just signed a petition asking Senator McCain to stop seeking political support from hatemongers like Hagee.

Senator McCain is actually in New Orleans today, and MoveOn members from that region will try to give him this petition.
