I’ve started using the site del.icio.us for organizing bookmarks. It’s one of the great Web2.0 apps that integrate the community into the benefit for the user.
I can post my own links, that I can access from any web browser in the world, which is the primary benefit. But, I can also see how many people are linking to the same thing, and it is a great way to explore a whole world of other sites. By looking at the popular tags, you can see what’s new and hot on the web.
You can assign tags to help organize and categorize your links. Like flickr, technorati and other sites, del.icio.us uses “tag clouds” that uses size to show the most popular or recently added tags. Pretty cool, and highly addictive.
